HR Manager - P/T, East Dorset
Location: East Dorset
Salary: £40k FTE
Hours: 21-25 hrs pr (ideally over 5 days a week but flexible)
My client is a growing company within the construction sector who are now looking for an experienced standalone HR Manager to join their Senior Management team.
You will act as the companies lead on HR and Recruitment, advising on best working practices whilst ensuring that the organisation remains legal and fair
This role would suit someone who is
- CIPD Qualified ideally but would accept QBE
- Has generalist HR experience
- Can build relationships with stakeholders in the the business and with external clients
- Coaching and mentoring skills essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a dynamic and fun environment
- Good IT skills
This is a great opportunity to join my client who, whilst professional have a lot of banter in the office so if you're offended by banter/bad language this may not be the role for you!
This is very much a generalist role and a key part of that is recruiting operatives for work all around the country but particuarly in London and then the successful onboarding of them. There is a realy chance to push the agenda for cultural changes as some of their policies need updating therefore you will be comfortable challenging Directors but in the right way!
You will be the first point of call for all staff with regards to any HR issues, policies and procedures as well as keeping the Directors abreast of employment legislation changes. You will also be comfortbable in producing all HR admin such as offer letters, contracts and starter forms.
Ideally they would like someone to start work in April.
