My client is now looking for an experienced 2nd line support Technician to join their small but well established IT Team.

The role will see you supporting a mix of H/O personnel as well as remote staff across a number of sites within a 40 mile radius.

This a full time role (40 hours) Monday to Friday and once you have passed probation you will join the out of hours support rota which is shared between the team.

The successful applicant would require a full driving licence, as it will involve travelling and working at all their sites

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic ICT Technician with a clear awareness of customer experience.  You will have a positive "can do" attitude and a will to succeed.

My client also runs a lot of projects and are continually installing new systems. As such you will be involved in helping to conduct research for those projects rather than just support them.  They are really looking for someone who wants to progress.

The role would suit a technical candidate with experience or aspiration to work in second line support, who is keen to develop their technical and commercial skills further and gain exposure to a wider range of technical challenges.

You will be an excellent team player who works well with others, but can also work independently when required. My client strives for service excellence and as you gain experience of their business you will be central to how they improve their applications and systems to enhance their user & guest experiences.

After successfully passing the 6-month probation, you would be expected to undertake on call duties 1 week in 5. Company Laptop & Mobile are provided.

Skills and Experience required:

This varied role will include problem solving, hardware and software installation and project work. You will need a good knowledge of IT and operating systems, the ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines, a drive and determination to develop in the role.

The system infrastructure that they have includes:

  • ·Physical & virtual server administration including MS Win Serv 2012 – 2016
  • ·IP network & switching technologies: LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN
  • ·Mitel Phone and Contact Centre Solutions
  • ·Windows 10 operating system upgrades and PC / Laptop/ Tablet rollouts.
  • ·Supporting digital transformation within the Microsoft 365 Platform, Office 365,
  •  Experience or aspirations to excel within the Microsoft Power Platform would be advantageous.
