Operations Co-Ordinator/Dispatcher , East Dorset
Location: Nr Ferndown
My client is now URGENTLY seeking an experienced and mature (in their outlook) Operations Co-Ordinator/Dispatcher to join their long standing team.
NEED TO BE A CAR DRIVER
The role is an integral one and will see you taking charge and responsibility for all customer facing actions - over the phone, email etc.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating their engineers, scheduling in jobs and repairs with the customers and having the ability to prioritise different customer jobs as they arise - be warned the workload is fast moving and you need to be totally ontop of all issues and tickets as they arise. Most of your day will be spent on the phone speaking to and updating customers and allocating and progressing work with the external engineers. You will also take responsibility for urgent projects. A firm but fair telephone manner is essential for this role as is the ability to prioritise.
The successful candidate will be able to multi task, be able to keep calm in a highly pressurised environment and have the ability to talk proactively to clients. Excellent communication and IT skills go without saying.
You will be responsible for pushing faults through to the correct engineer, keeping customers updated regarding progress reports and proactively managing the communication around any delays to the service. You will also be constantly monitoring Service Level Agreements to ensure that agreed targets are met
If you have any form of IT/Technical or Telecoms knowledge this would be preferred but is not essential. However you MUST be adaptable to change, be enthusiastic and have good geographical knowledge as their clients span Dorest, Somerset and Hants.
They are looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks ideally.
