Location: Southampton
Salary: £30K-£36K dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours pw, flex. Core hours 10am-4pm office based

Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our professional services client in Southampton to recruit an experienced Audit Senior. The Audit Senior will be an integral member of the business. The Audit Senior will contribute to the successful completion of audits and will work closely with colleagues and managers to deliver high-quality audit services that comply with the auditing standards.
The successful Audit Senior will:
- Be studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification, ideally part qualified
- Possess 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice, with a minimum of 2 years’ audit experience
- Be proficient with MS 365 software, experience of CCH would be advantageous
- Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Be committed to continuous self-improvement
Job Description
Key Responsibilities of the Audit Senior will include:
- Completing audit fieldwork in accordance with auditing standards
- Planning and completion of audit assignments
- Accounts preparation
- Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues on a timely basis
- Providing support to other team members
- Taking ownership for the successful completion of your own work
- Demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to continuous learning and development
