Salary: Up to £42,000 + company performance bonus

Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for a new role?  Our client is a looking for a proactive Facilities Manager to lead the management of their facilities across 3 operational sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of facilities, buildings, assets, and compliance activities within a growing business. Reporting to the Group Head of Safety & Compliance, you will play a key role in ensuring our sites remain safe, compliant, efficient, and fit for purpose.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, managing contractor performance, delivering facilities projects, and ensuring statutory compliance across all sites.

As a successful Facilities Manager you will:-

  • Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or similar role
  • Experience managing multiple sites would be advantageous
  • Strong contractor and supplier management experience
  • Good understanding of facilities compliance and statutory building requirements
  • Experience managing maintenance programmes and facilities budgets
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  •  A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise a varied workload

Job Description

  • Lead the day-to-day management of facilities across three sites
  • Develop, implement and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Ensure all buildings, equipment, infrastructure and services are maintained to a high standard
  • Manage reactive maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Oversee facilities-related activities within the company management system, including contractor and asset records
  • Manage the approved contractor process, ensuring contractors are competent, compliant and deliver value for money
  • Source and manage external suppliers and contractors for maintenance, repairs, refurbishment projects, waste management and security services
  • Lead facilities improvement projects, site upgrades and capital investment initiatives
  • Monitor facilities expenditure, raise purchase orders and verify invoice accuracy
  • Prepare and manage facilities budgets, forecasts and planned investment requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety, environmental, security and statutory requirements
  • Support waste management and environmental compliance activities in line with ISO 14001 requirements
  • Maintain accurate facilities records, inspections, certifications and compliance documentation
