Salary: to £50k doe + up to 50% of annual salary as bonus paid annually

Due to an internal move, they are now looking for an experience Sales Branch Manager to take control of their Bournemouth depot.

This Sales Branch Manager role will see you being very sales focused with a commercial outlook who can set competitive pricing for clients with little guidelines and be able to report on profit on return and growth margins.

You will be able to demonstrate active leadership, driving high performance, with a focus on the customer, communicate effectively and be able to plan and strategise.

You will:-

·Drive and have own transport

·Have previous transactional product sales experience that are sold on a repeat basis

·Have previous staff management experience

·Be sales focused (over Operational Management focused)

·Be positive and optimistic with the ability to lead and motivate a team

·Be able to have difficult conversations when needed, both internally and externally

·Be a superb negotiator

·Be commercially aware

·Be IT literate

·Be an excellent communicator with superb personal appearance

Job Role

Your responsibility will be to efficiently and consistently manage the sales, admin, customer service, stock and operational functions, in order to achieve budgeted contribution by exceeding the needs of their customers through cost effective and innovative operational management. Sales is 80% of this role you will be required to create your own pipeline, visit potential clients including cold calling, developing sales via local networking groups with only 20% of your time spent on Branch Manager duties. 

Key accountabilities

·To achieve all budgeted Sales and Profit targets through the efficient use of resources.

·Optimise costs whilst achieving high productivity standards and meeting service level commitments.

·Perceive the wider business impact of issues and generate alternative approaches to problems.

·Seek out business best practice and implement where appropriate.

·To communicate ideas and facts honestly, clearly & persuasively and build productive relationships with colleagues both internally and externally.

·To focus on the customer and find ways to meet customer needs by converting strategy into practical day-to-day activities and fulfil and exceed business and budget requirements

·To be aware of all issues relating to Health and Safety, Environmental and Transport and act accordingly

·To ensure that the day-to-day operation meets ALL legal requirements.

To sum it up, your role will be to run the branch in a profitable way that includes all recruitment, retention, sales, visiting customers face to face, making sure that the branch becomes a top performer!
