5 things to know about Aspire Jobs

I thought it a good idea to use this month's newsletter to act as a reminder of what Aspire Jobs is all about.

Who are we?

We're a boutique (small but perfectly formed!) recruitment agency, based in Ringwood, covering Dorset and  Hampshire. We also handle some nationwide placements for our clients, depending on their specific needs.

We're a team of 3 supported by a network of outsourced professional services. The core team is headed up by me, Helen Stacey. Amanda Thompson and Becky Wooden are our recruitment resourcers, Becky is currently on maternity leave.

What makes us different?

At Aspire Jobs, we are able to create a truly tailored and personal recruitment process that isn’t bogged down in fulfilling quotas but in fulfilling people’s dreams by matching the right candidate with the right position.

I have more than thirty years' experience in the recruitment sector in our local area. I built the largest independently owned recruitment agency in the South with a T/O of £13M before setting up Aspire Jobs in 2014.

We work across a wide range of industries and have extensive experience.

What are our specialities?

We offer an advisory service (Recruitment Healthcheck) to business owners helping them shape their recruitment plans to the best effect. We complete a full screening process, (including an interview), of candidates prior to submitting them for consideration, but only when they have met the criteria set.

Our 7-step recruitment process ensures a consistent and quality service to our clients and candidates, you can read about it here.

We have our finger on the pulse of the local and national economies. I am a Dorset Chamber Ambassador and also Vice Chair of the ambassador group. I am a founding member of a Ringwood-based networking group specifically for company owners in the area. I also attend other business networking across the region ensuring that my knowledge and connections in the area are second to none. This is an essential part of my role as Aspire Jobs MD, ensuring that my knowledge of local business is maximised and that that knowledge is shared with my team.

What are our values?

We understand exactly what it takes to find the right candidates for the right roles, adding lasting value to each. We are of course professional in our approach, but also honesty stands out as one of our core values. Honesty towards our clients and our candidates, both are equally important. A further value at Aspire Jobs is our personal touch. Being a small team, as a client you can be sure you're dealing with someone who knows your requirements and where we're up to with the process inside and out.

Feedback is hugely important to us. We have 78 Google reviews and a 4.9 star rating. Recruitment is a very demanding industry and we're really proud of this achievement.

What is our promise?

  • To build long-term relationships
  • To maintain contact with candidates and clients
  • To provide valuable services; CV feedback, interview advice, and business information to recruiters
  • To add value by assessing your requirements and business demands; matching candidates to those needs.

So there you have it, a brief reminder about Aspire Jobs, the services we provide and the values that we practice each and every day.

I'm more than happy to chat with anyone looking to recruit who doesn't know where to start, or wants some help with salary benchmarking, writing compelling job ads and interviewing advice.
